Bankwell Financial Group, Inc. raised its 2026 net interest income outlook to $119 million to $121 million from $115 million to $117 million, pointing to margin expansion and strength in its Small Business Administration lending platform.

The bank also increased its full-year noninterest income forecast to $14 million to $15 million from $12 million to $13 million.

Bankwell’s core conversion generated $3 million in pretax costs during the third quarter, largely from one-time termination fees. The bank expects quarterly conversion expenses of $400,000 to $500,000 over the next four quarters.

Bankwell expects the conversion to finish in the second half of 2027. It does not expect the project to materially affect its operating expense run rate.
