Salesforce has agreed to acquire Rune Technologies, a startup whose AI software helps U.S. military units forecast supply needs and coordinate logistics from the field. The transaction would expand Salesforce’s defense-focused Missionforce business into battlefield operations.

Rune’s frontline logistics data would be paired with Missionforce’s administrative planning tools, extending the platform’s role to battlefield operations. Missionforce’s business has grown 80% year over year since it launched last year.

Salesforce has also agreed to acquire Braze for $5.66 billion.
