OpenAI lowered its target for its latest funding round by $10 billion as U.S. technology stocks sold off amid concerns over AI infrastructure buildout.

Broadcom CEO Hock Tan previously cited OpenAI’s $50 billion in annualized revenue as of September as evidence of a viable business. Tan also warned that access to financing could constrain AI infrastructure growth in earlier comments on OpenAI’s revenue and funding risks.
