Anthropic IPO Valuation Expectations Fall to $1.5 Trillion-$1.6 Trillion
The lower range follows a technology-stock selloff that saw the Nasdaq fall about 10% from a recent high. Anthropic plans to begin its IPO roadshow as early as next week.

Investors preparing to join Anthropic’s planned U.S. IPO have told the company and its advisers they expect a $1.5 trillion to $1.6 trillion valuation after a technology-share slump.
The new range is below the nearly $2 trillion figure discussed earlier. It also narrows a $1.5 trillion to $1.75 trillion valuation range from existing investors described in earlier IPO valuation coverage. Anthropic has not finalized its valuation target or the size of its share sale.
The Nasdaq fell about 10% from a recent high during the selloff. Intel lost 29% in a single session, and Alphabet’s market value declined by roughly $500 billion after its earnings report.
Investors are weighing concentrated exposure to artificial intelligence, political resistance to data-center construction and uncertainty over when large cloud providers will turn AI spending into profits.
Anthropic plans to begin its roadshow as early as next week and is targeting a listing in the week before Thanksgiving.
