Anthropic Names Eight Firms for Planned Australian Retail IPO Offer
The offer would proceed under a prospectus filed with the country’s securities regulator if the planned IPO moves ahead.

Anthropic named eight firms expected to participate in its planned Australian retail IPO offer, giving investors in the country a route to subscribe directly to the AI company’s shares.
The firms are Macquarie, CommSec, Morgans, Bell Potter, LGT Wealth, Stake, Morgan Stanley Wealth Management and Sharesies.
The company places Australia among a small group of markets outside the United States with direct retail access to its planned shares. That group also includes Japan, Canada and parts of Europe.
Anthropic’s Australian offer would proceed under a prospectus lodged with the Australian Securities and Investments Commission (ASIC) if the IPO goes ahead. The prospectus filing is the next step in the Australian process.
Anthropic has also considered reserving roughly 15% to 20% of its IPO shares for retail investors, a proposal that could change (retail allocation proposal).
