Crypto.com has added Arc as a network option for app customers moving USD Coin (USDC), enabling deposits and withdrawals over a blockchain where USDC also pays transaction fees.

Arc is a Layer 1 blockchain designed for financial-market activity and real-time money movement. Its public mainnet launched Sept. 16. Customers can select Arc when depositing USDC to the app or withdrawing it.

The addition comes amid recent growth in USDC balances on Arc. Those balances measure assets held on the network, not the number of users or transfers.
