Open Standard set a management fee on Open USD (OUSD) payment value at 0.1 basis point, capped at $0.01 per transaction, and linked partner equity eligibility to token holdings and flows.

The rate equals 0.001% of payment value. A $1,000 payment generates a $0.01 fee under that rate, and the fee is capped at that amount for payments of $1,000 or more. Payments below that level are charged at 0.1 basis point of their value.

Partners’ shares of a yearly equity earn-in pool are determined using monthly measures of OUSD holdings and flows. The eligibility threshold is $50 million, and an individual partner can earn no more than 5% ownership in Open Standard.

The annual pool adds detail to the partner model presented at OUSD’s Sept. 30 launch with five partners. Partners earn rewards based on the OUSD supply and activity they generate on their platforms and have an opportunity to earn equity in Open Standard.

The payment fee is separate from supported integrations that let businesses mint and burn OUSD at a 1:1 ratio without fees. Open Standard introduced the stablecoin for business and developer use.
