AMD expects deployments of its Helios rack-scale AI systems to increase significantly in the fourth quarter as production rises and hardware partners begin deliveries, Chair and CEO Lisa Su said on the company's third-quarter earnings call.

Lenovo Group, HPE, Dell and Supermicro are among the original equipment manufacturer and original design manufacturer partners expected to start delivering systems.

The first Helios racks are already running models and workloads for Anthropic, Meta, Microsoft, OpenAI and Oracle. AMD also began mass deliveries of its MI455X graphics processors in the third quarter.

The update follows AMD's initial Helios shipments, with production underway.
