Arkhouse Management is pressing People Incorporated (PPLI) to repurchase at least $750 million in shares through a Dutch auction tender and put its New York City headquarters up for sale.

On an earnings call, People Chairman Barry Diller said the company expected to restart share repurchases Nov. 4. The pause followed a blackout during discussions with MGM Resorts International.

People did not repurchase common shares in the quarter that ended Sept. 30. Earlier TokenPost coverage said 12.5 million shares were still available under the buyback authorizations on Oct. 30.
