USDT on the TRON network has emerged as the most-used onchain token and network payment option on CoinsBee, highlighting growing stablecoin adoption for everyday purchases.
According to CoinsBee payment data covering the 90 days through September 1, 2026, USDT (TRC-20) generated about 1.8 times more completed payments than Bitcoin and 1.9 times more than Ethereum.
USDT on TRON represented 16.23% of all CoinsBee payments in 2026 to date, up from 9.92% in 2025. That marks a 64% increase in its share of total payment activity.
CoinsBee enables users across more than 180 countries to spend over 200 cryptocurrencies on gift cards, payment cards, gaming credits and mobile top-ups from more than 5,000 global and local brands.
TRON has also captured a significant portion of USDT spending on the platform. Between June 4 and September 1, TRC-20 accounted for 44.6% of USDT payments but 64.5% of USDT turnover, suggesting that purchases using USDT on TRON had a higher average value than USDT transactions through other supported networks.
In the United States, popular brands purchased with USDT on TRON included Amazon, Apple, Walmart, Uber, PlayStation, AT&T, T-Mobile, Macy’s, Sephora and DoorDash. Spending covered retail, gaming, transportation, mobile services and food delivery.
Following the increase in usage, CoinsBee and TRON DAO launched a joint promotional campaign running from September 21 through October 5. Eligible CoinsBee mobile app users can receive a 2% discount on a purchase paid with USDT on TRON by entering the code USDT-TRC. The offer can be used once per eligible customer and is subject to campaign conditions.
CoinsBee Product and Growth Lead Iván Escamilla Rodriguez said the data demonstrates how stablecoins are increasingly being used for practical purchases rather than solely for trading and investing.
TRON DAO spokesperson Sam Elfarra said stablecoins gain utility when consumers can spend them on products and services they already use.
CoinsBee, founded in 2019, currently serves more than 500,000 customers worldwide. TRON, meanwhile, hosts more than $94 billion in circulating USDT as of September 2026.
