Quant (QNT) climbed 75% in 24 hours to above $180 after The Clearing House selected Quant to support a planned network for tokenized deposits, extending the token’s weekly gain beyond 180%.

QNT briefly topped $190 on Sunday before trading near $180. The token also rose 27% on Sept. 24, when the banking initiative was announced.

Quant will provide interoperability, orchestration and transaction-management functions for the On-Chain Money Initiative. The system is designed to connect participating financial institutions with existing payment infrastructure, including the Real-Time Payments and CHIPS networks, while supporting the clearing and settlement of tokenized deposits.

The Clearing House’s payment networks process more than $2 trillion daily across wire, automated clearing house, check-image and real-time payments. The planned system is expected to launch to participating institutions in the first half of 2027.

Network activity also increased before the announcement. Active addresses exceeded 870 each day from Sept. 16 through Sept. 23, then reached 2,064 on Sept. 24, the highest level in nearly a year.
