U.S.-Iran peace talks have stalled as Treasury yields moved closer to recent multiyear highs, adding pressure to markets already watching oil prices and geopolitical risk.

Negotiators are pressing Iran to make concessions on its nuclear program as efforts to restart ceasefire talks lose momentum. President Donald Trump previously rejected an Iranian ceasefire proposal.

The two-year Treasury yield rose 4.4 basis points to 4.907%. The 10-year yield increased 2.8 basis points to 5.208%, while the 30-year yield gained 1.7 basis points to 5.518%.

Oil prices also moved higher during the session. Treasury yields remained slightly below their recent multiyear peaks as investors assessed the stalled negotiations and the possibility of continued tension around Iran’s nuclear program.
