Bitcoin Short-Term Holder MVRV Hits Highest Level Since November 2025
The ratio reached 1.15, indicating short-term holders are averaging a 15% unrealized profit as Bitcoin moves above their roughly $73,100 cost basis.

Bitcoin (BTC) short-term holders’ market-value-to-realized-value ratio has climbed to its highest level since November 2025, indicating that the market value of their holdings exceeds their realized value.
The MVRV ratio reached 1.15, meaning short-term holders are averaging a 15% unrealized profit. The measure compares the current market value of their holdings with their realized value.
The increase followed Bitcoin’s move above the short-term holder cost basis of roughly $73,100. Market momentum strengthened significantly between August and September.
The level warrants close attention because it may prompt short-term holders to take action, particularly profit-taking.
