Fed Decision and September CPI Headline October’s Bitcoin Calendar
The schedule includes 13 dated events and four recurring weekly indicators, with the September CPI report due Oct. 14.

Bitcoin (BTC) enters October with U.S. inflation releases and a Federal Reserve decision on the calendar, dates that will put economic conditions and monetary policy in focus for crypto markets.
The schedule lists 13 dated events and four recurring weekly indicators. The September Consumer Price Index report is due Oct. 14, followed by the September Producer Price Index report on Oct. 15. Both are scheduled for 8:30 a.m. ET (12:30 p.m. UTC).
The Federal Open Market Committee is scheduled to meet Oct. 27-28, with its rate decision due Oct. 28. The September personal income and outlays report and the advance estimate of third-quarter gross domestic product are both scheduled for Oct. 29 at 8:30 a.m. ET (12:30 p.m. UTC).
The 10-year real Treasury yield was 2.90% on Sept. 28, compared with 2.44% at the end of August. Real yields account for inflation. Treasury securities pay interest, while Bitcoin does not pay interest or generate cash flow for holders.
The recurring weekly indicators are the Energy Information Administration's diesel price update on Mondays and petroleum status update on Wednesdays, along with initial jobless claims and Freddie Mac mortgage rates on Thursdays.
The schedule also lists the September employment report on Oct. 2, ahead of the CPI report on Oct. 14.
