The 30-year U.S. Treasury par yield stood at 5.64% on Sept. 29 and Sept. 30, 2026, after beginning the month at 5.27%, keeping long-term government borrowing costs in focus for markets.

The 30-year par yield readings are daily figures, not intraday highs.

H.R. 3289 was introduced May 8, 2025, and its recorded status is “Introduced.” The bill would create a commission to educate the public about the nation’s fiscal path.
