Jupiter led gains among the 89 largest cryptocurrencies over 24 hours ending at 4:03 a.m. ET (08:03 UTC) on Oct. 8, while most major tokens declined.

Jupiter (JUP) rose 14.22% to $0.378, ranking 70th by market capitalization. The move extended earlier coverage of Jupiter’s gains.

Raydium (RAY), ranked 99th, gained 11.28% to $2.50. Bitway (BTW), ranked 33rd, advanced 10.01% to $1.37.

Algorand (ALGO), ranked 75th, rose 4.25% to $0.125, while NEAR Protocol (NEAR), ranked 20th, added 3.96% to $5.37.

Sky (SKY), ranked 55th, posted the largest decline among the listed tokens, falling 8.16% to $0.0795. Midnight (NIGHT), ranked 89th, dropped 7.75% to $0.0454.

Ethena (ENA), ranked 40th, declined 7.69% to $0.220. Venice Token (VVV), ranked 72nd, lost 7.63% to $24.80, while Pump.fun (PUMP), ranked 42nd, fell 7.15% to $0.00606.

Among the 89 cryptocurrencies, 17 gained and 72 lost value during the period, excluding stablecoins. Bitcoin (BTC) stood at $82,944, down 1.30%, while Ether (ETH) traded at $2,566, down 1.91%.
