Arbitrum (ARB) gained 2.74% over 24 hours to $0.18 on Binance spot, but a zero MACD histogram and declining futures open interest limited confirmation of the move.

ARB traded at the bottom of its $0.18–$0.19 range, with spot volume at approximately $9.3 million. The token remained below its seven-day simple moving average, 12-period exponential moving average and 26-period exponential moving average, each near $0.19.

The 20-day simple moving average stood at $0.21, while the 50-day and 200-day averages were $0.16 and $0.11, respectively. The 14-period relative strength index was 48.03, indicating a broadly neutral reading.

The MACD and signal line both measured 0.0038, producing a histogram reading of 0.0000. The Stochastic oscillator showed %K at 29.36 and %D at 23.49, placing both readings below 30.

At 4 a.m. ET (08:00 UTC), Binance futures open interest had declined 3.73% over 24 hours to approximately $46.3 million. The eight-hour funding rate was -0.0122%.

Futures selling exceeded buying during the one-hour taker-flow period. The buy/sell ratio was 0.8210, based on about $8.3 million in sell volume and $6.8 million in buy volume.

Account positioning remained net long overall. Binance’s global account long/short ratio was 1.1377, with 53.2% of accounts long and 46.8% short. The top-trader long/short ratio was 1.4248, with 58.8% long and 41.2% short.

Technical levels placed support at $0.17, a pivot at $0.18 and resistance at $0.19. The lower Bollinger Band was $0.17, while the middle band was $0.21.

Falling open interest alongside a price gain can reflect existing positions being closed, but the measure alone does not establish the market’s direction. The setup continues a technical-analysis theme discussed in an earlier report on a zero MACD histogram and derivatives positioning, though the asset and figures differ.

ARB is the token associated with the Arbitrum ecosystem, which settles transactions on the Ethereum network. The technical levels describe conditional scenarios rather than a confirmed price forecast.
