U.S. CPI and Crypto Deadlines Set the Oct. 12-18 Calendar

U.S. inflation data and a series of crypto-related deadlines will shape the calendar for the week of Oct. 12-18, spanning markets, exchanges, taxes and blockchain infrastructure.

The U.S. will release September consumer price index data at 8:30 a.m. ET (12:30 p.m. UTC) on Oct. 14, including the core CPI measure. The release will arrive ahead of the Federal Reserve’s Oct. 27-28 policy meeting and follows earlier coverage of the October Bitcoin calendar.

Upbit will end trading support for Ravencoin (RVN) at 2 a.m. ET (6 a.m. UTC) on Oct. 12. The change affects the RVN/KRW, RVN/BTC and RVN/USDT pairs, while withdrawals will remain available until Nov. 11.

Unichain’s testnet plans to migrate to OP Enterprise on Oct. 13, with the mainnet migration planned for late October. The move is intended to prepare the network for native interoperability across OP Stack chains.

Bitwise Dogecoin ETF BWOW is scheduled for its final trading day on Oct. 14. Cash liquidation payments are expected Oct. 22, based on the fund’s net asset value on Oct. 21.

U.S. taxpayers who received an extension for their 2025 individual federal income-tax returns face an Oct. 15 filing deadline. The extension applies to filing, not payment. Sonic Labs will permanently destroy about 32.69 million unclaimed S tokens on Oct. 15.
