Trader Peter Brandt said Monero (XMR) was his preferred altcoin chart among those he reviewed, while warning that XRP (XRP) faces substantial overhead supply.

“Of these, my favorite by far is XMR,” Brandt wrote. He added that he could assess Monero’s price chart without understanding its fundamental narrative.

Brandt’s comments focused on chart formations involving XRP, Monero, Solana (SOL) and Ethereum. He did not present the comparison as a statement about the underlying technology of those networks or assets.

“Note in XRP there is a TON of overhead supply to work through,” Brandt wrote. The phrase describes a chart-based obstacle that may emerge as prices approach levels where earlier buyers could consider selling.

Brandt also cautioned against treating chart objectives as fixed. “Targets or objectives are not sacred,” he wrote, adding that charts can fail to deliver an initial setup and develop into something else.

The comments add to Brandt’s recent XRP chart analysis. TokenPost previously covered Brandt’s earlier XRP chart commentary, which also focused on technical patterns rather than a confirmed position.
