Jito (JTO), the Jito Network’s governance token, had differing market readings on Oct. 15. One snapshot put the token at $0.4510, down 19.3% over seven days and 10% over 24 hours. An earlier snapshot showed declines of about 17% over seven days and 14% over 24 hours.

Jito’s total value locked (TVL) stood at about $1.076 billion on Oct. 15, more than $193 million below its Oct. 5 level. Its reported fee reading fell from $532,600 to $220,729 over the comparison, a decline of 58.56%. The same TVL and fee readings appeared in an earlier Jito market update.

TVL captures the dollar value of assets held in a protocol’s smart contracts. That value can change with asset prices as well as withdrawals. The declines in JTO, TVL and fees coincided, but the figures do not establish why the token fell.
