Coinbase’s nearby Bitcoin sell orders exceeded buy orders by about $7.02 million in an order-book snapshot, showing a larger displayed sell-side balance around the market price.

Displayed asks totaled about $30.27 million, against roughly $23.25 million in bids. The difference equaled 13.12% of the two sides’ combined nearby depth. Those totals cover nearby orders, not Coinbase’s entire order book.

At $81,654, the book showed about 68.44 BTC in asks, valued near $5.59 million. That price was about 0.38% above a midpoint of roughly $81,344.

The amounts reflect orders displayed on Coinbase, not trades that had already been completed. An earlier Coinbase spot order-book snapshot also showed more sell orders than bids, with a smaller $1.9 million difference.

This measure differs from the Coinbase Premium Index, which compares Bitcoin prices on Coinbase and Binance.
