Solana Processed 14.2 Billion Non-Vote Transactions in Q3 2026
The active validator count fell to 659 from 696 as active stake grew to 440.5 million SOL.

Solana processed 14.2 billion non-vote transactions in Q3 2026, up 45% from Q2, even as its active validator count fell from 696 to 659. The figures pair higher transaction activity with a smaller block-producing set.
An active validator was one that produced at least one block during the sampled epoch. Active stake rose by 13.4 million SOL to 440.5 million, equal to 69% of supply, up from 68% in Q2. That milestone was covered in TokenPost’s earlier staking coverage. The active-stake total includes direct stake, SOL backing liquid-staking tokens and Solana Foundation delegation.
Solana’s Real Economic Value reached 837,000 SOL, valued at $76 million. The measure combines priority fees, Jito tips and base fees from both vote and non-vote transactions, so it covers more than costs associated with the non-vote transaction count alone.
Validators process transactions and help secure Solana through its proof-of-stake system, which uses staked SOL. The figures track distinct parts of the network: non-vote transaction activity, validators producing blocks during a sampled epoch, and a broader measure of transaction-related value.
