Ether Rises Above $2,500 With a 2.84% Gain Over 24 Hours
ETH was priced at $2,506.50 at 12:31 p.m. ET (16:31 UTC) on Oct. 21. Its 24-hour range was $2,423.09 to $2,513.81.

Ether (ETH) was priced at $2,506.50 on Oct. 21 after a 2.84% rise over 24 hours, putting it back above $2,500 at the 12:31 p.m. ET (16:31 UTC) snapshot.
The figure was a market reference price drawn from active ETH pairs. Over the same 24 hours, the displayed low was $2,423.09 and the high was $2,513.81.
Technical readings dated Oct. 21 placed the 20-day exponential moving average (EMA) at $2,497.10 in one set of figures and $2,512.90 in another. The corresponding 50-day EMA values were $2,480.30 and $2,484.90.
Those readings did not include an observation time. The $2,506.50 price fell between the two 20-day readings and above both 50-day readings, but that comparison does not establish whether ETH crossed either average at 12:31 p.m.
ETH remained below its Oct. 8 price of $2,571.66, when an earlier analysis of Ether’s technical levels showed it below several short-term averages. The Oct. 21 snapshot establishes a move above $2,500 during the day, but not where ETH will close relative to the averages.
