Stablecoin Payment Value Climbs 45% as Supply Grows Just 0.4%
Payment count rose 71% to 1.04 billion, while the average payment fell to $462 from $544.

Stablecoin payment value reached $482 billion through Sept. 30, up 45%, while supply rose 0.4% to $305 billion, with payment activity growing faster than the pool of tokens in circulation.
The payment count climbed 71% to 1.04 billion, while the average payment size fell to $462 from $544. Third-quarter payment value was 51% higher than a year earlier, and September's $72 billion total set a monthly high.
The $482 billion figure covers transfers classified as payments, not all stablecoin movement. Screening $97.9 trillion in recorded transfers left $2.4 trillion in adjusted volume, with classified payments accounting for about one-fifth. Transaction counts do not show how many distinct people or businesses used stablecoins.
Earlier coverage of stablecoin payment infrastructure detailed Volante Technologies' integration of USD Coin (USDC) workflows into its payments platform.
