Aerodrome Finance (AERO) Falls 5.74% After Aero Launches
Aero launched across seven networks at 8 p.m. ET Wednesday; the timing does not establish a cause for the decline.

Aerodrome Finance (AERO) traded at $0.7958 at 6:12 a.m. ET (10:12 UTC) Thursday, down 5.74% over the prior 24 hours, about 10 hours after Aero’s seven-network rollout. The timing alone does not establish that the rollout caused the decline.
Aero launched at 8 p.m. ET Wednesday, Oct. 21 (00:00 UTC Thursday, Oct. 22), spanning Base, Ethereum Mainnet, OP Mainnet, Arc, Ink, Robinhood Chain and Arbitrum. The platform combines Aerodrome and Velodrome under a unified token.
Existing AERO converts to the new AERO at a 1:1 rate, while each VELO converts to 0.044 AERO. Self-custody holders must complete the upgrade through the portal; no fixed deadline was set for the process.
AERO recovered 11.13% on Oct. 20 to finish at $0.884278, following four straight daily losses.
