Binance’s NVIDIA-linked NVDAUSDT perpetual contract fell 1.26% over 24 hours to $216.96 at 8:05 a.m. ET (12:05 UTC) Thursday, Oct. 22, with short-term averages still above the price.
The 20-period simple moving average was $225.98, and the 50-period measure was $225.10. Exponential moving averages stood at $220.45 and $223.28. The seven-period simple moving average was nearly level with the contract at $216.91, while the 200-period average was lower at $212.82.
Momentum readings were mixed. Stochastic %D was 18.40, below 20, while %K was 23.00 and the relative strength index was 40.84. A stochastic reading below 20 is commonly labeled oversold, but that reading alone does not establish a reversal.
The chart’s support levels were $214.84 and $212.71. The pivot was $218.84, with resistance at $220.97 and $224.97; the lower Bollinger Band was $208.12.
NVDAUSDT is a perpetual contract linked to NVIDIA Corporation common stock, with settlement in Tether (USDT) and trading available 24/7. Its price is separate from NVIDIA shares during regular U.S. stock-market trading. An Oct. 19 snapshot showed the contract at $217.17, up 1.34% over the previous 24 hours, below three shorter-period averages and above its 200-period average.
