MRNY Weekly Distribution Falls 39.1% to $0.5394 for Oct. 30

YieldMax set the next weekly distribution for its YieldMax MRNA Option Income Strategy ETF (MRNY) at $0.5394 per share, down 39.1% from the amount announced a week earlier.

The fund set Oct. 29 as both the record date and ex-dividend date. An earlier MRNY distribution update covered the prior $0.8851 distribution, payable Oct. 23.

At the Oct. 27 market close, MRNY’s distribution rate stood at 70.99%. The rate annualizes the latest per-share distribution and compares it with the fund’s latest net asset value; it is not a measure of total return. MRNY’s SEC yield over the 30 days through Sept. 30 was 0.68%, excluding option income.

MRNY’s strategy uses call spreads on Moderna Inc. shares to pursue weekly income. Distributions vary and are not guaranteed. Payouts can include ordinary dividends, capital gains or returned capital; returning capital can lower the fund’s NAV and trading price. The latest distribution is scheduled for payment Oct. 30.
