Trader Killa said Thursday that Bitcoin (BTC) held within a trading range amid macroeconomic and crypto-related pressures, which he viewed as a possible sign of a market bottom forming.

Killa cited a hawkish Federal Reserve decision, rising oil prices, hot Consumer Price Index (CPI) data, higher global bond yields and a stronger dollar. He also pointed to concerns about a Ledger wallet hack, a possible delisting risk for Strategy and the company’s shift toward artificial intelligence.

Killa argued that Bitcoin might otherwise have fallen below $70,000 under those conditions. He said the market’s ability to hold its range may show that it is absorbing negative news, a behavior he described as a bull-market trait. He also said an important intermediate bottom may be taking shape.

The view echoes Killa’s earlier bottom-related argument that an overheated short-term holder supply level may signal a market bottom.
