Dogecoin’s Death Cross Reversed October’s Golden Cross in 23 Days
DOGE closed at 0.0798 USDT at the crossover on Oct. 28 at 7:59 p.m. ET (23:59 UTC).

Using Binance’s daily closes for Dogecoin (DOGE)/Tether (USDT), the token’s 50-day simple moving average moved below its 200-day counterpart at the Oct. 28 close, 23 days after an upward crossover.
At the Oct. 28 crossover, DOGE closed at 0.0798 USDT at 7:59 p.m. ET (23:59 UTC), compared with 0.0954 USDT at the Oct. 5 close, when the averages crossed upward.
The Oct. 16 comparison of DOGE’s averages put the 50-day reading at 0.0882 USDT and the 200-day figure at 0.0874 USDT, before the two crossed downward. Before the Oct. 28 signal, the last daily death cross had occurred Nov. 10, 2025.
A death cross is the name for the 50-day average moving beneath the 200-day average. Both calculations use completed daily closes, so the crossover summarizes past trading and does not establish whether DOGE will continue falling.
