YieldMax Sets MRNY’s Weekly Distribution at $0.7297, Up 35.3%

YieldMax set a $0.7297-per-share weekly distribution for the YieldMax MRNA Option Income Strategy ETF (MRNY), 35.3% above the previous payout, with payment scheduled for Nov. 6.

The fund designated Nov. 5 as both the ex-date and record date. The ex-date marks when buyers no longer qualify for a distribution, while the record date identifies eligible shareholders. The previous $0.5394 payout was announced Oct. 28 in a prior MRNY distribution update.

YieldMax listed a 90.85% distribution rate as of the Nov. 3 close. The rate annualizes the latest distribution against the fund’s latest net asset value (NAV), but it does not measure total return or indicate future payouts. MRNY’s 30-day SEC yield was 1.09% for the period ended Oct. 31; that figure excludes option income.

The fund pursues weekly income through call spreads tied to Moderna Inc. (MRNA). Distributions can vary or be zero, and may include a return of investor capital that can reduce the fund’s NAV and trading price.
