A trader known as frenchlaundry has closed six U.S. election contracts and a Tesla short across two platforms, locking in combined gains of about $134,100.

The Polymarket contracts focused on Democratic control of both congressional chambers and election outcomes in several states. They cost about $382,200 and returned roughly 25.4%, or about $97,200 in profit. About 100,000 “Yes” shares on Democrats controlling both chambers earned about $31,000. Another holding of about 306,400 “Yes” shares on a Democratic win in the Texas Senate race generated about $50,200.

The Tesla short on Hyperliquid had an entry value of about $1.83 million and an average entry price of $394.32. The trader closed the full position for a gain of about $36,900.

The trader previously made congressional-control bets and opened a Hyperliquid position. Polymarket is an online prediction-market platform.
