Hunter Biden Says More Than 12% of LAPTOP Tokens Have Been Burned

Biden said 30% of the tokens are tied to real-world prediction events, with each outcome determining whether its allocation is burned or donated to charity.

Hunter Biden said more than 12% of LAPTOP tokens have been permanently burned, reducing the token’s supply as another 30% remains tied to the outcomes of real-world prediction events.

Under the mechanism Biden described, tokens assigned to a prediction are burned if the specified event occurs. If it does not, those tokens are donated to charity.

Biden has previously discussed LAPTOP’s token distribution, saying half of its supply was allocated to the community.
