AMC CEO Questions Robinhood’s Jersey Tokenization Business Over SEC Principles
Adam Aron said Robinhood claims to support SEC work on tokenized U.S. stocks and asked whether its Jersey operation follows the same proposed principles.

AMC Entertainment CEO Adam Aron again questioned whether Robinhood’s Jersey-based tokenization business follows principles proposed by the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission for tokenized U.S. stocks.
Aron said Robinhood claims to support the SEC’s work on rules for tokenized U.S. stocks. He pressed the company to explain whether its international operation in Jersey would apply those same principles.
Aron argued that failing to follow the principles internationally would distort and ridicule the conduct the SEC is seeking to establish. He repeatedly used the phrase “shame, shame, shame” while criticizing Robinhood, which he said had not directly answered his question.
The comments follow Aron’s previous challenge to Robinhood’s approach to voting rights for tokenized stocks.
