HTX has added Russia to its prohibited-jurisdiction list, extending its service restrictions to people in the country and businesses registered or primarily operating there.

The exchange's user agreement covers individuals who live in Russia or are physically present there. It also covers companies registered in Russia or conducting most of their business there. HTX may restrict covered users' access to services, suspend withdrawals or close their accounts.

Bitget added Russia and Belarus to its prohibited-jurisdiction list in an October terms update, while MEXC also announced in October that it would stop serving Russian users.
