Oku, a next-gen DeFi aggregator developed by GFX Labs, has officially launched on Etherlink, a high-performance Layer-2 blockchain built atop the Tezos (XTZ) ecosystem. As a Uniswap v3 fork, Oku empowers Etherlink users with advanced trading capabilities, liquidity management tools, and aggregated DeFi services—all within a single streamlined interface.

By integrating with Etherlink, Oku enables seamless token swaps, bridging, and liquidity provision while leveraging Etherlink’s EVM compatibility and low-cost, high-speed infrastructure. This expansion delivers a robust DeFi experience to Tezos users without the need to leave the application, marking a significant step toward user-friendly, all-in-one crypto platforms.

Etherlink’s architecture, which offers up to 30x faster smart contract storage and increased network stability, has proven attractive to top-tier DeFi protocols. Its total value locked (TVL) recently surged past $40 million, underscoring growing adoption. With Oku now onboard, users gain access to familiar charting tools, historical data, and a comprehensive analytics dashboard—without extra fees.

Dan Zajac, Business Development Lead at Oku, emphasized the goal of simplifying DeFi by unifying essential features under one platform. He noted that Etherlink’s performance and compatibility made it a natural choice for Oku’s next expansion phase.

This strategic integration highlights Etherlink’s evolution into a DeFi hub, bridging the gap between Tezos and EVM ecosystems. It also sets a precedent for other major DeFi protocols to explore Tezos as a scalable and user-friendly environment for decentralized finance. As Etherlink continues to attract innovative projects, its role in the broader blockchain ecosystem is poised to grow rapidly.
