Oracle Expands Digital Assets Platform for Banks to Process Stablecoins
The update supports central bank digital currencies, tokenized deposits and other assets through existing ISO 20022 payment systems and Oracle Banking Payments.

Oracle has expanded its Digital Assets Data Nexus platform to help banks process stablecoins, central bank digital currencies (CBDCs), tokenized deposits and other digital assets through existing ISO 20022 payment systems.
The update is designed to reduce the need for separate payment infrastructure for each asset or blockchain. The platform supports multi-chain ledgers, custodial wallets, smart contracts and workflows that connect on-chain systems with traditional financial infrastructure.
The platform is pre-integrated with Oracle Banking Payments and will connect with Swift Ledger. Banks can use Swift Ledger to synchronize interbank payment commitments and tokenized-deposit status, while final settlement can occur through existing real-time gross settlement systems or correspondent banking networks.
Oracle AI Database will analyze transaction anomalies, liquidity pressures, fraud and anti-money laundering risks. The system can trigger controlled actions such as freezing tokens, suspending accounts and changing transaction limits.
The expanded platform is intended to help regulated financial institutions move digital-asset operations from pilot projects into production environments.
