Tom Lee Says Tokenization, AI Agents May Drive Next Crypto Cycle
The Bitmine chairman said AI is helping create a digital economy while crypto supplies digital money and blockchain infrastructure.

Bitmine Chairman Tom Lee said tokenization and AI agents may become major drivers of the next crypto market cycle as artificial intelligence and blockchain networks move closer together.
Lee said BlackRock expects more assets to be tokenized, while financial settlement infrastructure is increasingly being built on crypto networks. Fintech companies such as Revolut have begun building related businesses on Ethereum, he said.
AI is helping create a digital economy, while crypto provides the digital money and blockchain infrastructure needed to support it, Lee said.
Lee has also emphasized that Ethereum’s role extends beyond transaction fees, pointing to the network’s security, liquidity and utility in financial applications. His earlier comments on Ethereum’s broader value described those functions as part of the network’s wider infrastructure role.
