Clearpool Adds CPOOL-to-CLEAR Swap as XRP Ledger Plan Advances
The proposed one-to-one conversion would allocate 70% of CLEAR’s planned 1.125 billion initial supply to CPOOL holders. The plan also directs half of protocol fees to CLEAR purchases and burns.

Clearpool has added a CPOOL-to-CLEAR conversion tool to its redesigned decentralized app as it advances a plan for institutional lending on the XRP Ledger alongside its Ethereum-based credit marketplace.
The proposed rate is one CLEAR for each CPOOL. Current CPOOL holders would receive 70% of CLEAR’s planned initial supply of 1.125 billion tokens through the conversion.
Clearpool’s plan would direct half of protocol fees toward CLEAR purchases, then remove the purchased tokens from circulation permanently. The remaining planned supply is allocated among the treasury and partnerships, ecosystem incentives, and contributors.
The XRP Ledger expansion is still in development. Clearpool is testing its products on the XRPL Devnet. At the time of the proposal, amendments for the XLS-65 vault and XLS-66 lending standards were still being voted on.
The proposal links Ripple’s role as a limited partner, Cicada Partners’ role as fund manager and Hex Trust’s role as custody partner to an institutional credit fund supporting the planned products. The plan keeps CLEAR native to Ethereum as an ERC-20 token and would bridge some tokens to the XRP Ledger.
The proposal outlines migration phases but sets no date for completing the conversion or launching XRP Ledger lending markets. Clearpool’s earlier coverage of the migration proposal describes the planned CPOOL-to-CLEAR shift and institutional lending expansion.
