Amazon Connects Bee AI Service to Shopping Recommendations

After connecting Amazon.com to Bee, a user who mentions running low on dish soap may see related suggestions on Amazon’s shopping homepage. Shopping recommendations require Bee Pro, which costs $11.99 per month.

Amazon’s Bee devices include the $74.99 Bee Frontier, which is available now and can be worn on the wrist or clipped to clothing. It has dual microphones and up to seven days of battery life. The $99.99 Bee Eclipse is credit-card-sized, attaches magnetically to a phone and is not yet available. It can record both sides of a phone call and is designed to run for more than 21 days per charge.

When activated, Bee listens to everyday conversations and can turn meeting details, scheduled commitments and tasks into summaries. The service can connect with Gmail, calendar apps and other applications to draft follow-up emails or arrange meetings. Its free tier includes 14 days of memory; Bee Pro adds Amazon.com and Alexa+ connections, third-party app integrations and shopping recommendations.
