Clearpool’s Snapshot vote approved its planned expansion to the XRP Ledger and a 1:1 migration from CPOOL to CLEAR, advancing an institutional credit initiative that would use RLUSD for settlement.

The proposal received 97.16% support. Clearpool plans the expansion with Ripple and Cicada Partners, using RLUSD, a regulated stablecoin, to settle transactions.

Under the conversion plan, each CPOOL would become one CLEAR. CLEAR is planned to have a total supply of 1.429 billion tokens, with 1.125 billion, or 78.75%, in circulation at migration.

Clearpool operates an Ethereum-based credit marketplace. Clearpool has added a CPOOL-to-CLEAR conversion tool to its decentralized app as part of its XRP Ledger lending plan.
