USD.AI Announces CHIP Governance Process for sUSDai Financing Rules
The first proposal would set collateral, maximum utilization and Compute IQ standards, with at least four full days of discussion before a Snapshot vote.

USD.AI announced a public CHIP governance process to set rules for financing computing capacity with sUSDai, beginning with standards for new loans on the protocol.
The first proposal would establish origination parameters for new sUSDai financing. Its scope includes collateral requirements, maximum utilization and standards for Compute IQ, USD.AI’s underwriting system for GPU-backed financing.
Compute IQ is built from GPU financing data and scores each financing on a 100-point scale. CHIP is USD.AI’s governance and utility token, and holders can vote on protocol matters such as collateral standards, interest rates and loan eligibility.
The process calls for at least four full days of discussion under a Chip Request for Comment (CRFC), followed by a Snapshot vote. An on-chain vote and timelock would follow if needed to execute a proposal.
