Add as a preferred source on GoogleOptimum Launches mump2p on Ethereum Mainnet Across 16 Operators
The deployment spans 16 node operators and roughly 22,000 validator keys tied to more than 1.4 million Ether (ETH) in active stake.
Sixteen Ethereum node operators have put Optimum’s mump2p software into production, giving validators with over 1.4 million Ether (ETH) staked another route to receive blocks. The system was live on Ethereum mainnet by Oct. 20 and covers roughly 22,000 validator keys.
mump2p operates alongside Ethereum’s GossipSub network as an additional path for block delivery. When a block arrives late, validators may miss an attestation or maximal extractable value (MEV) rewards.
ether.fi moved the software from optional to required for its 12 Ethereum node operators, making it standard across its operator set. Optimum plans to expand mump2p beyond Ethereum to other high-throughput blockchains.
