Google DeepMind Shows Gemini 4 Argon 3D Periodic Table Set to Music
Built in Google Antigravity, the display synchronizes animated scientific visuals with Tom Lehrer’s song “The Elements.”

Google DeepMind showed a 3D periodic table built with Gemini 4 Argon on Oct. 20, demonstrating how the model can bring scientific data, animation and music into one project.
Created in Google Antigravity, the display synchronizes with Tom Lehrer’s song “The Elements.” It includes animated electron orbits, information about the elements and light spectra.
Antigravity gives AI agents tools to plan, perform and check coding work across an editor, terminal and browser. The periodic table adds to Google’s examples of Argon creating 3D visuals and animations that run in a browser.
The demonstration follows Argon’s Oct. 13 expansion to developers and businesses through Google’s API. Argon is also available in Antigravity to Google AI Ultra subscribers. Argon supports up to 1 million tokens across input and output combined.
Argon scored 77.9% on the DeepSWE v1.1 coding benchmark. The periodic table is a separate demonstration and has no benchmark score attached to it.
