Extended plans to shift settlement from Starknet to Circle’s Arc at 9 a.m. ET (13:00 UTC) Thursday, Oct. 22, with trading scheduled to continue as collateral balances convert.

Deposits and withdrawals may be paused for up to two hours. Transfers between sub-accounts are scheduled to remain available during the change.

Tether (USDT) will convert to USD Coin (USDC), and Wrapped Bitcoin (wBTC) to cirBTC, at a 1:1 rate. No swap fee will apply. Extended plans to credit a 0.50% premium within eight hours after the migration.

Ether (ETH) balances are scheduled to convert automatically to wrapped Ether (wETH) at a 1:1 rate. USDC balances will move to native USDC on Arc through Circle’s Cross-Chain Transfer Protocol. Vault and XVS balances, along with withdrawal rights, are scheduled to be preserved.

Circle’s Arc is a Layer 1 blockchain whose public mainnet launched Sept. 16. Starknet is an Ethereum Layer 2 validity rollup that processes transactions off-chain and submits proofs to Ethereum. The strategic partnership aims to broaden real-world asset coverage, deepen liquidity and build institutional distribution.

The Oct. 21 action deadline applied to sub-accounts holding more than $1 in USDT or wBTC; holders were required to convert or withdraw those assets before the move. Earlier coverage outlined potential account and position consequences. The settlement change is scheduled to begin at 9 a.m. ET (13:00 UTC) Thursday.
