XRP Ledger Fix Holds 32 Votes as Lending Proposals Remain Short
The amendment’s vote fell to 26 on Oct. 21 before recovering to 29 and restarting its 14-day approval period.

The XRP Ledger’s fixCleanup3_4_0 amendment had support from 32 of 35 trusted validators at 6 p.m. ET (22:00 UTC) Thursday, Oct. 22, leaving the ledger’s separate lending system short of approval.
LendingProtocol had 19 votes and SingleAssetVault had 21 in the same tally. Each needs 29 votes. The cleanup amendment’s tally fell to 26 on Oct. 21, then returned to 29 at 10:46 a.m. ET (14:46 UTC), restarting its 14-day approval period and shifting the activation outlook into November.
The amendment requires support from more than 80% of trusted validators for 14 days. If that support holds, the period is projected to reach its mark Nov. 4 at 9:46 a.m. ET (14:46 UTC). The next flag-ledger sequence, which determines when the amendment takes effect, is estimated for 10:03 a.m. ET (15:03 UTC).
The update bundles fixes in xrpld 3.4.0 for token and trading rules, escrow handling, vault accounting and lending-related code. Passing it would not activate lending. The proposed system uses single-asset vaults for fixed-term, uncollateralized loans, with borrower underwriting and risk assessments handled off-chain.
