Cosmos CCO Eran Barak to Moderate Payments Panel in New York
The Oct. 23 session at an invite-only LF Decentralized Trust workshop will examine standards for connecting payment networks and digital assets.

Cosmos Chief Commercial Officer Eran Barak is scheduled to moderate a Friday discussion in New York on standards for payments involving conventional networks and digital assets.
The “Payments and Standards” panel is part of an invite-only technical workshop organized by LF Decentralized Trust, which runs Oct. 22-23. Participants from Mastercard, Circle and OpenAssets are expected to join the Oct. 23 session.
A separate Cosmos Labs-Jack Henry arrangement lets banks send cross-border payments using tokenized deposits, including outside standard banking hours, with settlement in under three seconds.
LF Decentralized Trust, an open-source Linux Foundation group, works on blockchain, ledger, identity and cryptographic technologies.
