Arthur Hayes Says Flop Labs Will Open Public Devnet Within Days
Users can join as miners or validators, or connect agents, but Devnet activity will not count toward token allocation.

Arthur Hayes said Flop Labs plans to open its Devnet to public users in the coming days, creating a testing stage before the project's planned testnet and airdrop.
Users will be able to join as miners or validators, or connect agents to the network. Hayes said Devnet activity will not count toward any token allocation.
Flop Labs is developing a network designed to let AI agents buy computing power from GPU providers. The project plans to use the Devnet for public testing before moving to its testnet and airdrop phases.
That distinction matters for the project's proposed token distribution. The draft testnet token plan earmarks 3.6 billion FLOP for testnet miners, validators and AI agents. The plan includes an 800 million FLOP ecosystem reserve, bringing the allocation to 4.4 billion FLOP. The proposal ties participant eligibility to testnet participation, while Hayes' statement excludes Devnet activity from token allocation.
