Ethereum Foundation Says Privacy and Security Must Be Addressed Together
Kohaku’s software development kit is maturing, with integrations for Tornado Cash, Railgun and Privacy Pools.

The Ethereum Foundation said privacy and security should be addressed together, arguing that default wallet protections can make it harder for attackers to exploit users’ onchain transaction histories.
The Foundation cited multiple hacks and security vulnerabilities over the previous week. It tied those incidents to a broader case for treating privacy and security as connected goals.
Kohaku, the Foundation’s wallet privacy initiative, said its software development kit is maturing and includes integrations with Tornado Cash, Railgun and Privacy Pools.
Kohaku was integrating Privacy Pools when Ambire was among the protocol’s early wallet participants. The latest update also names Tornado Cash and Railgun.
