OpenAI announced Oct. 26 that CodeRabbit is using GPT-6.1 Sol to investigate security risks in complex codebases and help developers assess findings and proposed fixes.

The deployment adds a security-review use case to a model designed for reasoning and coding tasks. OpenAI introduced GPT-6.1 Sol on Sept. 29.
