Faroo Launches stPROS Liquid Staking Token on the Pharos Network
The Faroo app is available inside Binance Web3 Wallet and OKX Web3 Wallet. Faroo plans to add a real-world asset yield product by late November 2026.

Faroo launched stPROS on Pharos Oct. 28, giving PROS stakers a transferable token that represents their staking position while rewards accrue and can be used across decentralized finance applications.
The Faroo app is available inside Binance Web3 Wallet and OKX Web3 Wallet, where users can stake PROS through the wallet interface. The integrations let users access the staking service without manually configuring the Pharos network.
Liquid staking keeps a token usable while the underlying asset is committed to a network. stPROS represents the staked PROS position and can be transferred or used in decentralized exchanges and lending protocols while the underlying stake earns network rewards.
Faroo uses an exchange-rate design instead of a rebase. A holder’s stPROS balance stays fixed as rewards accrue, while each token represents an increasing amount of PROS. Rebase tokens change their balances as rewards are added. The fixed-balance design is intended to ease integration across decentralized finance applications, where balance changes can complicate accounting and settlement between smart contracts.
For withdrawals, the protocol applies new staking deposits to pending requests when those deposits arrive. This can let users exit without waiting through the standard unbonding period, though the faster route depends on new deposits arriving while requests are pending.
Faroo is built on Bifrost’s SLPx cross-chain staking technology, adapted for Pharos. The launch follows Pharos’ roadmap for proof-of-stake staking on mainnet in the fourth quarter of 2026.
Pharos selected Faroo as the first project for its $10 million ecosystem incubation initiative. Faroo has a post-investment valuation of $10 million.
By late November 2026, Faroo plans to introduce tbPROS, a product combining native staking rewards with yield backed by real-world cash flows. The company also plans Faroo Points, a program that will reward long-term stPROS holders and active early community members. Its stated reward criteria are asset retention, product use and ecosystem participation.
